Deadline Looming
One week from today I have to hand in the final design of my first game to my publisher. Its been an intense road from UK Game Expo last year when our discussions began, and the last couple of months since signing have been intense with playtests, blind playtests, rulebook reviews, rules tweaks, playtests, rulebook re-writes, blind playtests, re-printing, posting copies, and did I mention playtests?
To everyone who helped, I can’t say thank you enough for your time and feedback. So many of your suggestions and comments have been positive and useful. You’ve been wonderful at spotting challenges and rules that needed fixing and despite some of my immediate feelings of defensiveness you’ve almost always been right.
